Two fashion-loving friends with a passion for helping all women discover their style, Mabel and Woods showcases quality clothes at affordable prices. With a bricks & mortar store in Spotswood, Melbourne, and a formidable reputation for their carefully curated range, Mabel and Woods needed a high-converting and functional website that would tie-in their boutique to their online store as well as showcase their personality.
When Mabel and Woods were referred to us by their business coach, they already had a Shopify website, but it was underperforming for their business.
The website lacked style and personality, and the menu was cluttered, which didn’t provide a good user experience. This contributed to low conversions from the traffic they had on their website.
We rebuilt the Mabel and Woods Shopify website with a focus on User Experience (UX), brand personality and conversion. The cluttered navigation was replaced with a streamlined mega menu, while product pages were enhanced with image rollover and zoom functionality to replicate the in-store shopping experience.
Klaviyo was integrated to capture and nurture potential customers through email marketing, and the visual design was elevated to match the warmth and style of the brand, giving their online store the same carefully curated feel as their Spotswood boutique.
We identified Shopify was still the best platform for their online store. Our experience and expertise with Shopify meant that we could bring out the best in the brand and deliver tangible results for Mabel and Woods.
A mega menu to manage a large number of collections, product image rollover on hover and ability to zoom in are some of the improvements in the experience for online shoppers.
We have since updated the theme and redesigned the homepage utilising our VIP Day service, knowing a full redesign was not required. We are their trusted Shopify Expert for ongoing support.
A clever email marketing solution such as Klaviyo will ensure that you don’t miss any potential sales. We integrated Klaviyo into their website, imported an existing database and created segments within Klaviyo.
